This design was a real joy to work on. I've said it before, but I really think the colours you stitch with affect your mood! This design is full of zingy vibrant colours and I've also added seed beads to re-create those bobbly pink and blue sweets that come with the other liquorice allsorts. It's surprising how much black is used in this design - there are more black stitches than any other colour - and yet it still manages to look bright! It's quite a quick design to stitch too because there is not so much fiddly counting to do as the colours are used in larger blocks than some of my other more intricate designs.
I shall now work on my football design and a design for my third magazine commission.
