I've added a new kit to my webshop today. Titled 'The Fruit Bowl' it's exactly that! It features motifs of juicy purple grapes, citrus slices, rows of cherry sprigs and four succulent strawberries. I really enjoyed designing this one as I was determined to use the brightest colours I could! Stitching with the bright orange and citrus green was a nice change from the darker threads I've been using of late. My next design is also stitched with bright colours - greens, reds, yellows and oranges.
I've produced four chart packs so far, but I'm not putting them in my webshop until I've completed the full range - I want to have one big launch of them! I shall have to create a new advert featuring these chart packs too for the cross stitch magazines. My Cross Stitch Consort magazine has stalled at the moment. I'm concentrating on the chart packs and my next book. Not enough hours in the day for everything! Must win that lottery so I can do this full time!
I like the idea of chart packs as I have nearly all the DMC threads already!
ReplyDeleteAnother idea would be to sell the charts as PDFs. This is very popular with overseas customers as there is no postage and they get the chart instantly rather than wait for the delivery.
I've just found your website and blog today and will be telling my online friends all about it!
Thanks for the comments Jo, I shall certainly consider your suggestion about pdf charts.
